I am interested in this as I made my own and havent quite sorted attachment.
Currently holds on with two G Clamps ( dont laugh it works)

I have used a length od 1" alley box section that is fixed to the roof rack, I then just clip the sheet to it with G Clamps I have got some of the clips that market traders use but not tried them yet.
I have also considered putting bolts through the eyelets in to the box section.
I should post some pics in the next few weeks
