when you say 2" lift do you want that amount of lift or do you just want the shackle 2" longer than standard ( i ask because you are only lifting one end of the spring you only get half the lift so if your shackles a 1" longer your only going to have 1/2" lift )
so to get a true 2" lift your shackles would have to be 4" longer which would cause the following probs
alter the pinion on the dif to point down
lower the end of the springs to the floor decreacing ground clearance
your beter going for a 2" lifted spring iron man do these but as ive been onto westcoast these are not in stock for another ten weeks
so i rang round and procomp have the lifted springs in stock

are your tyres are ripping the iner arch on articulation off road
what size tyres are you running
have you checked to see if your bumpstops are still there(these are rubber pad in the chassis to stop the axel banging into the chasssis on full compresion) if not get some that might stop it catching

no i don't think its the bump stops it it the nobles on my Tyre's. Because they are recip Tyre's which have very square tread and the tread goes onto the Tyre wall as well and just touches the inner flange of the plastic wheel arch extension.

I know this post isn't new but seeing as I'm new round here i thought I'd post a pic of the shackles i made for mine, they're 4" longer than std so give a 2 inch lift. Also used lifted 'desert rat' springs from explorer-procomp and did a 1 3/4" body lift using poly bar. I have never worked on the indi tho but i heard west coast do a heavy duty torsion bar. The rear wasn't a problem but i had to make wedges to go between the spring and the axle on the front to keep the pinion at the same angle pointing towards the gearbox and so as not to screw up the steering angles. Hope this helps someone.

And this is it with the body lift, the only thing i had to do was to extend the hi-lo gearstick and slacken off the steering column bolts under the bonnet during the lift to allow movement. Also un-hooked the brake pipes to the front wheels off their last mountings before going off down to the calipers so as not to strain them, the loops formed in the brake pipes at this point allowed them to be elongated slightly once it was done. If anyone needs any more info then gimme a shout, i know there's nothing by the way of off the shelf upgrades for these trucks so it's a case of 'make your own' and I've had no problems with anything I've done, it's been tried and tested on many occasions and has proved more than capable. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Yeah tis home made, just bought the safari head and then used flexible pipe all the way to the std air filter box, will take a couple of pics when i get chance, was a tight fit thru to the engine bay and had to trim the bonnet hinge a bit but was worth it to not have pipework running down the wing, had to make a bracket to hold the safari head as they are normally mounted on solid tubing.
