Hi,
One of the larger rocks at Potarch got the better of my discovery which now has a crack on the chassis next to the support for the rear trailing arm. I'm going to patch it up with the welder.
Do I need to disconnect any electrical components before going at the chassis with the welder (MIG)? Just wondering if there are any electronics that won't like the voltage from the welder.
Many thanks,
M

Remove your earth, and then everything is safe. If you know someone with a surge protector it clips on to the battery there good if you've codes that may be lost and stuff.
