i think it all depends on the set up you have ,mine was just a mixing ring in the air intake pipe , there was a switch to turn the gas on and the injectors off.

I think injecting LPG is far superior to injecting petrol, ie cheaper but i think there is still some loss of power? not much mind.

if you are going to be running on lpg , why go to the time/expence/effort of switching to efi ?
if you mean switching to sequential LPG injection your looking at big bucks.
If you are adamant you want to switch to efi , then all you will need is a pair of emulators and a different mixer. (if you have a flapper AFM you need a mixer that is installed 'upstream' of the AFM).If you go for Hotwire injection you will need to install all the lambda gubbins.
End of the day , you wanna run a V8 on LPG 99% of the time . (maybe running on petrol when its really cold for a few mins). Why install an injection system that will never be used?
leave it on carbs and save ya money.
If your desperate to spend money , take it to an LPG specialist and spend £40 getting the vaporiser/powervalve set up .Should also be able to optimise timing for lpg.
