|

|
Bought a Disco TD5 a couple of weeks ago, it seems to have a mind of it's own.
Sometimes when it's parked up the rear suspension lowers by itself and sometimes it doesn't.
Can anyone tell me why it does it, and why it only does it sometimes.

Thanks for the quick reply, Spoofer.
It's always parked in the same place, on large piece gravel in our yard. Is it that sensitive?

well like spannerman69 said it could be the sensors or worse the pump playing up (common problem with them)

They can be sensitive. Mine will hiss and whine when you open the doors and chuck stuff in when it has been parked for a while

As advised by Dennis I would suggest looking for a leak . I had that problem for a while - offside going down at random . Began to happen more often so replaced airbag and been fine since . ( I knew the other one had been replaced before I got it over a year ago ) .
If you are replacing it yourself you cut the air supply pipe close to the airbag and then just insert the end of the pipe into the fitting on the new airbag .There should be enough pipe to allow this .
In my case I unscrewed the fitting from the old bag and screwed it into the new one . I then read in the Spring issue of LRO Pgs 214/215 how to do the job .
