14/56-13 tyre markings.14 is the tread width (145mm) 56 (560mm) is the od (overall diameter).I find that most 14/56-13's come out at 145mm tread width but 570-575mm overall diameter.Have you got M4 or M5's?

Thanks Mr Tyre,
Im not sure if they are M4's or M5's all I do know is that i wrecked two tryes trying to get them on the rims! I got one side of the tyre on the rim, but the other side kept getting stuck and not stretching far enough.
The tyres are forest type ones. possibly intermediates
Whats the difference between M4 and M5 ?

M4 is for soft compound, M5 is a harder compound.Used to use M4 on the astra all year round except if it got very hot and then went to 5's.Used to get (depending how stony surface was) 8 to 10 stage miles out of the fronts the rears would last forever if you didnt pick up any punctures.
