Hello again jacko, i had a look at doing our fourtraks & even got 2" diameter alloy bar to do the job. after being out today in an independent we were struggling a bit for ground clearance. the problem is though, a body lift does not help the clearance for the gearbox cross-member. am going to have a look into that next week. will let u know how it goes.
Thanks, CJ.

Thanks cj Yes its a problem, but we will overcome it mate. There prity good motors tho. I have run them for about 9 years now, and just love them to bits. but if you lift the body cant you put bigger wheels on? ie 16 inch

How's everything running on the independent CJ. Have you had any problems with the drive shaft etc.
did you cut down the bump stops if you can get any pictures of the lift from under the fourtrak that would be great, also how did the fortrak perform off road
regards kieran

Hi all, had a leaf sprung 4trak for around 10 yrs, mechanically & chassis is perfect, body is rotten. now bought 2 independents for my brother & i. will let u know how we get on with them, did ok today, the khumo mt tyres seem very good, needin a bit more clearance but want to keep them driveable on road as they will be used for work,
Thanks, CJ.
