And again as above, anybody know what it is ?
The axles i have are of a 1982 G wagon i think a 2.4 diesel, sorry its all i know.
I have found a site saying that all G wagon are 5x130mm but the axles i have measure up at 5x123mm.

how are you measuring it on a 5 stud fitting the pcd is not done by measuring across two studs (mabe thats why u got ur measurment)
but if you draw a circle through the five studs and measure accross the diameter of the circle
if you have done it this way im sorry i was not making it out you didnt know its just theres a lot of confusion what pcd meens

Hi John, long time no hear kida, you ok fella, looks like you had a good weekend Very Happy

Here is a pic of where i am measuring

not the best pic sorry, from the left center to the other the 130mm mark hits the outer edge, even with a vernier it is near 124mm.

I did double check aswell by getting the width from edge to edge of hole and deducting one hole width (12mm) and it came back at 124mm.

Imagine my poorly drawn red line is a circle through the centres of the wheel studs.

Then imagine my poorly drawn blue dotted line is dead centre across the diameter of the red circle.

This is what I thought the PCD is. Laughing

ps, this site shows it proper.

pps, edit, Tris said taht on his first reply. Wink

As barny says the pcd isnt the distance you are measuring wolly its the circle diameter that passes through the centre of the holes so your method would only work on a even amount of studs.

I myself thought that most Mercs had a pcd of 5x112, except the sprinter which is 5x130.
