Local Morisons this morning£1.98 for three litres. Usual price £2.20.
Even at £2.20 it's a saving of over a quid on three litres.

75ppl in Makro last week....

I can get it off farm for 65ppl....

Poor harvest and a rise in use as a fuel is to blame.

Tesco were, and might still be, selling Pura veg oil for 56p last time I was in. I ordered 90ltrs for collection at an Edinburgh branch and picked it up 7 days later. Shelves are always empty of it though.

Costco were selling 20lt for £15.25 when I went in on Sunday Sad

Cheers

LIDL are 56ppl

thats £1.68 for 3 litres compared to the Tesco £2.24

Compare that to 3 litres of diesel for £3.30

£1.68 is MUCH cheaper than £2.24 !!

Local Tesco's has hiked the price of it's 3 litre bots of rape based veg from £2.21 to £2.98 from last weekend!

So I dropped into the local Asda who do their equivalent for £2.58/3 litres. Also 15 litre drums of 'genetically modified soya' based oil was £11. Brand marked as KTK or similar. Tried that before and not had any issues. Seems slightly more viscous than rape but runs fine. Anyone else tried it?

KTC is the Soya.

They run on this but its not the best stuff to use, Soya is bad for creating excessive carbon buildup inside the engine and is also prone to polymerising at injector temperatures. IE Clogging your injectors.
Expert advice is to steer clear.

Saying that, I've done a few thousand miles on the KTC Soya and apart from being too thick when cold its fine - the Fourtrak is more resistant to it because it is IDI with Pintle type injectors...

IMO This is the best use for GM Products Laughing
