Thought id post this as i know some poeple have had starting issues and running issues using SVO.
Recently serviced my 200tdi and changed the fuel filter
ive done around 8k on the old filter which was made by MAN.
I installed a Britpart filter and ive had issues running straight veg heated etc.
i will pick up a landrover filter today to see if it cures my issue but basically it doesnt want to rev over 3000 to the point if i force it i have to switch back to derv.
I wonder if the britpart filter is just finer than other makes as no issues running it on derv which it is meant for.
will let you know results when i change over propbably saturday as i have a long trip sunday

Depending on your set-up and the heat of the oil maybe the filter has 'unglued' and breaking up ............ I'm sure I saw on here a list of effected filters.
