Any help! My front locker wont engage. I have had the box off at the back of the axle and the pin moves fine and the slider inside the axle works fine you can hold it in with a screw driver and the locker works. bled the system to death and theres no leaks even replaced the seals in the chamber of the in cab controls. Apart from stripping down the diff I don't know what to do anyone else had the same problems?

ex steve lloyd car, are they 460 or 463 axles ? , ie do you have levers or button to operate the lockers. Have you lifted front end, manually slide locker over and spun wheels, to see if a shaft has gone. and from your picture we can hardly tell what axles you have, just happen to know this car was made for Oliver lloyd.

Hi GWizz, they operate with levers and yes i have jacked up the vehicle and held the slider in with a screw driver and the locker held firm, with not much pressure. I bought the vehicle from Steve at xmas and this weekend is its first proper session with myself. How come you know so much about my Gimny? Please tell

never seen it in the flesh but he (and lee Bond) have been toying with g wagen axles for a while, then it was mog axles and now he like going fast. Any way looks a good motor and I should imagine, very capable. As for the lockers, you can bleed them but when the you have done the nut up the perssure can be too much if the seals in the lever slave cylinder have gone, try swapping them over and see if it then happens to the rear, then you know the lever cylinder needs re sealing.

Any chance of posting some more piccys of your "GIMNY" close ups.

G Wizz been at our club event all day today and Daz Price says he knows you and you are the G wagon master. I have already replaced the slave cylinder seals at a price of £54 from the local Merc dealer. To by honest the vehicle so capable that I haven't had to use the front locker yet but that's not the point. Any other help?
