well i just got a reply back from nissan,
and i quote,
'sorry mr baxter, but we dont have a clue'
the question i asked was can it run on 100% bio diesel?
does anyone know?

Most UK dealerships, no matter what whether they're Nissan, Renault etc haven't a clue. Even the dealerships of manufacturers who actively advocate the use of biodiesel seem clueless. 
General rule - if it's a diesel it will run on biodiesel!
