By my calcs, these must be equivalent to 335x80 R20's. And these are about 41" tall...?
What the hell does that do the gearing of a 404? I would have thought it would struggle a bit...
And does anyone know the best place to get the 11" rims for these beasts?
Cheers,
iain

As any lady will attest, 11 inches is hard to come by. I've never seen them.
I think the big tyres killed the gearing on dave's, our's is actually nippy. We bought a set and then sold them to dave - they were 14 ply or something like that. I think his lesser ply 12.5's went on 9" rims.
We get our second pair of 10.5 MPT80's on monday. They look proper good on the front, be nice to have them all round (and we have a used MPT80 spare)

We got them from Watts Industrial Tyres in Trafford. I've been trying to get them for a year and a half, everyone says they can get them, then two months later tells you they are discontinued.
I nearly got them from america!
In the end I emailed conti in germany and explained I was just a dude with an old tractor trying to get 4 tyres, they gave me the details of the UK sales manager, who was a lovely chap, and told me to call Watts.
They are dear - about 440 a pair, fitted - but we couldn't find anything we preferred.

not quite.
when i spoke to him the 16x8's an the 15x10's are easy for him to get hold of an do which makes them cheap. but anything elso goes up in price quite alot!
best thing is to ask him as he can tell you for sure if your wanting anything bigger, but as mentioned befor 20x11's will be hard to come buy.
ive been looking at the mrt wheels as im looking to run 16.5 inch rims probly 12inch wide altho contemplating 14 wide!!!

335/80R20 does indeed equate to 12.5R20.You might find that 275/80R20 (10.5R20) are easier to get.Yes 335/80R20 will go on 9 inch DC rims.
