Well I have to admit defeat to Dave n his realy well prepared truck ,
To say it was awesome is an understatement , only unimogs have made it over the rock pile , Jims [ shaggy ] with a few scrapes n Dave with moggs making it look verry tame ,
A lot of sections were not tried as Dave did not want to spoil them for the smaller trucks[ thanks] ,
For a large truck it is remarkably nimble , the tractor type tyres were far less damaging than l thought , no wheelspin just continuous traction ,
The Embankment site was easily conquered although it was much drier than previous testings ,
Tris took a few pics so they may apear soon , Brian came along in the Disco and we were able to see a few ways to improve one or two sections , trying to get him out of the woodland trail was the hardest job all day , only on the last few hundred yards did he catch the indicator lense,
I now belive that it will not be worth making a more extreme site , there are a few parts capable of being realy testing , l will just concentrate on making some more twisty ditch runs and linking the three main sites by internal lanes round the Farm ,
Thanks for the feedback and your ideas , J P .

barny tirfors are great to use but in reality they only get brought out when you have five or six 4x4 with winches stud watching rather than helping
thanks to dave for the transport
thanks to john for letting us on the site
will post pics later

Steve it is one well sorted truck , a credit to Dave . The tyres stick to rock like vomit to a vicars vest !! , l thought they would wreck the sections but no ,
Dave realy can put it places that look imposible ,
Portals are a real benefit regards the clearence issue !
l am sure yours will climb just as well , We left the water runs to the Disco , it performed well , [ Might is Right ] !!! J P .
