| pour it in. I've used 90% recycled chip oil in my 300Tdi. i change the filters frequently, thats all

There is an issue with ring gumming (QUAARF!)
A DI engine does not burn the veg. oil/diesel/air mixture properly when cold and so you get a build-up when cold.
I have been on varying ratio's of WVO for 3 years but am prepared for failure.
Having said that I have saved a LOT of money.
Certainly enough to pay for numerous (S/H) engines.
