Andrei ,
The 250GD was to my knowledge never sold in the UK only the 300GD in the 460 series.
I have a 240GD that i imported seems to run the same as 300GDs that i have owned .

oooohhhh thank you sir. finally an answer.
well... perhaps i should reformulate: i am living in romania and i am currently studying the Gwagen because i want to buy one in near future.
aside the praise that everyone is giving regarding the G, i want to know as much as it is possible about this car, in order to have an educated opinion as what model i should look upon.
giving the fact that now i own a russian niva that is quite "thirsty" for her small engine, i want to know for sure if i can afford buying and running a Gwagen, as my sole and only vehicle.
any thought regarding the weak spots of G, (btw, there are any?  ), fuel consumption and so on, please share with me.
