How much does it cost to convert a 2.5 wrangler to LPG?
a friend has just bought one and is already moaning about the amount it costs him in fuel (if he was worried about that he should have bought an sj410 right)

Possibly a smidgeon less for a singlepoint system, but that sounds about right. If he's brave, a diy kit would knock him back £600 or so.

its not really that difficult to convert, time consuming but not difficult. when its fitted spend some cash at an installer to get it set up and certified. it can be installed over a few weeks without disrupting daily use to much.
as for fuel consumption a 2.5 wrangler should get similar to an sj. i used to get 20 out of my sj and 20 out of my yj. drive a 4x4 pay the fuel, complain about the fuel then drive a prius. simple.

Birmingham Autogas did my 4.0L for £1350 inc 2 year warranty and 2 free services, this was a multipoint sequential system. Had it 15 months with no probs.
