Mercedes used to make 4 wheel drive 4 Matic saloons and estates.Don't know much about them sorry. There is nationwide company called GSF (German,Swedish,French) they hold spares for Mercedes, don't know if they would hold anything either.Have seen complete vehicles for sale before now they weren't cheap!!

Mercedes actually make a 4x4 Sprinter.
I'll try and find a link.

Mercedes will not have a problem supplying you the parts if you have a chassis number for a 4x4 model. They need a chassis number so they get the parts right as there are loads of diffent options available across the ranges. It would be a guessing game without a number.

put a set of g-wagon axles under it they have difflocks front and rear and with a g-wagon t-case that has a locker as well!
i think a custom 4x4 sprinter would be cool especially if it looked like a transit county 4x4
(which reminds me i almost had a 4x4 transit ex police with inboard genny and 12v/24v out put on the body shell and much much more all round )
