My xj diesel rear diff used to make a lot of noise, (banging and rubbing sounds) mostly when it was warm. tried the mopar additive,which didn't help.
I changed the diff oil to 75-150 fully ...

Well, took the switch apart today, the actuator pin looked good.

removed the switch and sprayed it with contact cleaner and added a push

switch as well, so all is good at the moment ...

cleaned it up on sunday definitely the seal.
Probably try a kit though if there's not to much play in the shaft... and I can pull the pitman arm off.!!

Diesel man is having difficulty getting a No1 injector with the correct plug so can't fix my xj. I'm getting fedup with it ....!!
