Excellent i shall keep that in mind

It has civilian plug leads but they look damn old and give a tingle when touched while it is running.

Considering the set of leads on ebay from westfield but they are a bit ouch pricey

Have you seen if there is a signal getting to the injectors? You could look for power using a meter or lightbulb/LED

What are you trying to achieve?

Better hubs or better brakes?

As it is probably easier to engineer better brakes then it is to engineer new hubs to get better brakes

I have a hybrid trialer and a lathe in my garage.

Now so far i have had one diff fail on the hybrid , which meant thats the day over on the trialing front and a few hours and expenses to replace.

I have my trailer socket mounted on a defender quite high on the body.

As unless you are towing lots of different trailers then you merely extend your own trailers lighting cable so it reaches.

Considering sticking a center/rear winch on my ratty old trialing landrover as it has a rotten bum which needs attention from mr welder.

So while going choppy choppy i might as well put in a winch ...
