its a K series what do you expect .

have you checked the plugs and leads / coil pack .
could just be braking down under load . map sensor , airflow meter .even a clogged air filter . but i`d star ...

did you fill the rad through the bleed plug . then through the stat housing bleed screw . sounds backwards i know but ...

Helicoils are good mate and very useable.


Plenty of videos on youtube showing how to use them

As for the shavings a magnet and plenty of grease always helps

you can sort this your self , buy the kit and remember to use loads of grease to catch the swarf , you won`t get it all but you will get the majority of it , any tiny bits won`t make any difference .

have a look in the wiring loom that come out of the door , inside the rubber sleeve . they tend to beak in side . as for the lights , sounds like a dirty switch and not making a proper earth contact ...

vice grips x4 ,one on each flexy pipe , drive it and corner ,roll to a stop , try the peddle again , if no change ...

i thought it just me , i had a polish wagon and draq come through a red light last night in the rain and with no more than 50 feet to pull up , good job i`d only just set off and was turning right Very Happy
