Other things to check,

Choke stuck, weak springs, corroded internals stopping things closing,

If it isn't running rich, thhen it can be running lean, meaning there is air coming in somewhere ...

Brill thanks, just done that and its like a charcole sooty black, so there's the prob, overfueling, now just need a diagram or some info on where the fuel screw's too? Cheers for your help Toseland

Well, after 2 years of my Vitara being sat its finaly back, but its so slow, doesnt like to go over 50 and just generally feels alot slower than when I had it, and a few comments from people sayin it ...

Check the malatesta out they look pretty cheap at the moment, i prefer new stuff but out of the remoulds malatesta are one of the better ones. Not sure who has them now but worth a look

You typically need a wheel between 6" and 7.5" wide for a 235/85R16 tyre.

235mm is the nominal width of the tyre, not the size of wheel it should be fitted to.

Hi all.

Iv bought a weber carb made for an sj but put on a vitara manifold and all jetted up for a 1600.

The problem im having is fitment... where the pipes go ect, i cant seem to find a diagram ...
