I recommend 3 min of warm up (yoga/Thai chi sort of ****) before you attempt this as you get yourself in some mean angles and cannot get out quick when cramp hits, Laughing Laughing

I would not worry about the looms, all the wires are in plastic/rubber insulation, no water will get in. I would concentrate on terminations and joiners and just use liquid tape on those bits.

you can get a star brite product called liquid tape, awsome stuff, it sets into a rubbery coat that water never gets through.
normally only used on bare wires so not sure how well it would suit whol ...
