Ok so relocating battery in back behind front seat of my bobtail.

So considering the cable at approx 12'
What size battery do you recommend.

I rolled my niva years ago without doing anything that seemed serious.

Since then I roll cage my cars .

Search for my niva pickup project I did an external cage on that to box section.

My defender has got the box in the middle position and I wish to fit a third seat.

Does this require a frame ? Would the mounting holes for seat and seat belt be present?

Mines got about 15mm rotation but I think my disco is the same.

New water pump new tensioner assembly.

Now it drifts towards engine?

Cut one ridge off belt lets see if it settles.

Stuck a coin in at top of tensioner too tip it.

Sent belt too much other way.

Tensioner on order and I've got a pump I'll stick on.

Hi

My belt keeps running off and shredding.

Tensioner seemed too have to much play so changed bearing... Now worse..

Don't know if I should change tensioner as bearing appears to have play on ...

How about the so called sports exhaust. Replace middle box with pipe and new back box.

Seen them for £65 ..Double that for stainless?

I broke two of these and my friend broke one.

Teeth seemed to be soft and twist.

I also found them difficult too engage at times.

Airlockers would be my choice but expensive?

I got +2hd and they lifted it way too high but I liked it.
Front was stiff and uneven by a good 1/2 inch.
I reconned they lifted at least +3inches too hard as well.

Just got a 40ltr with quadra trac 2 4wd system.

Am i correct in believing these have open diffs in there axels?

Was looking for a good recovery point at the front....any ideas?

Getting a jeep soon and the jeep website explains the 4wd system as if it's got locking diffs in the axrels as well as center..?
