can you check the battery voltage?

I think that if it's below 12.5v it won't like it at all, speaking from personnal experience that is.

so, the battery maybe low and not flat.

I drove 75 miles and lost 1 litre of water, but strangely my fuel economy went up to 24mpg.

I topped the water up and a couple of days later, I drove the 75 miles back, but this time I didnt loose ...

I once sold a S1 rolling chaissis and bulkhead with logbook on ebay, that was ok though?

No engine, but it did have original gearbox and transferbox, axles and chassis.

6 weeks later I gave up and pulled everyhting apart looking for a dodgy earth on the BECM or the doors or the lights.
