Only major difference is the Fedima have the lugs on the sidewalls of the tyres..

Didn't grand Vitara come with 16s? Daihatsu Fourtrak wheels fit aswell... Not sue about widths and offsets of eithe ...

My 285/75r16 insa and fedima together - both same height. Yes i have lifted the truck weight off the insa for fair comparison. Both measure in at 34" tall. Never thought to measure them before.. ...

The insa will DIG. Great if your in sloppy mud with good base - absolutely rubbish in soft bottomless sand.

I haven't had any experience with maxxis though so couldn't really say, but they do look ...

I looked into them so i could have a quickly detachable tow bar so that when off road i wouldn't hurt departure angle with a low slung tow hitch.

Yeah and with problems with the feed you wouldn't expect to have fuel run out of line to pump when disconnected either...cant hurt to test everything though. Keep us posted.

and it runs fine with a temporary tank gravity feeding straight into carb?

How about testing with same temporary tank feeding in to pump to see if it may be an issue with feed from tank / tank brea ...

Sorry i was on auto pilot thinking of electric lift pumps... your right shouldn't be possible to fit yours backwards.

Possible that new pump is faulty??

Is it plumbed in & wired the right way round?

Only asking as i have done this myself.... Embarassed

Also check fuel filter flow direction and non return valve if fitted!
