30mm on standard alloys you will just about get away without arches, 50mm spacers you will need them for sure.

they are different & if auto they are directional. the prop shaft socket tool is a god-send also !

ok, no problem, is your key fob linked to a control module in the Classic? might be key fob not communicating with it due to low fob batteries? (trying to think simple first before too technical)

Richard, I'm not certain if this will help, but on earlier P38's this type of thing happens due to the battery being on its way out, have you tried fully disconnecting the battery and trying a differ ...

fuse 13 (unlucky for some) = shift interlock solenoid, key inhibit solenoid and sunroof.
its a 20A.

found another job to do, drivers side manifold gasket is blowing, and i'm going to have to 'muller the hell' out of the heat shield to remove it as the bolts are well past their best by date.......
