Found it- ( the RAVE disc that is) and it mentions an ECU for the memory seats and according to the manual it is under the drivers seat.

A further thought is it would be worthwhile to check the RAVE disc for the last RR classic workshop manual which may have later information than the book - I cannot find my disc at this moment - sorry

The first thing to check is the timing - get the correct timing pins and ensure that the timing is spot on as in my experience this engine is very sensitive to any change in timing
