Garage says up to 5 hrs?

About 2 1/2 hours at most its very easy, take radiator out is easiest ...

The rear arches are ok just need a rub down and paint. but as you can see the rot is from the seat mountings and body mounts back.

Thats a log of rot there will have look at weekend what ive got

Bit more to it on the terrano the crossmember that hold the torsion bars is in the way so torsion bars have to be unwound and crossmeber removed first

The resistor pack is in the blower you will be looking for the single screw on the bottom of the blower with 3 or 4 wires attached to the plate it holds in.

Cant see how the splines could slip.Have you checked that the adjuster bolts havent pulled through the crossmember
