What makes you think that the turbo is dodgy? Most often it is just a hole in the boost diaphram.

Refurbing the calipers to the same as standard is not really worth it, but if you replace the pistons with stainless steel ones as well as replace the piston seals then they are better than factory. ...

I little over your budget but we just got a 54 plate XC90 for 14k. It is the Excutive spec (which means leather, AC, Sat Nav and DVD player) so prehaps a little OTT for your use, but....

I've only ever used a smear of rubber grease on the seals to help them home if tight, otherwise a bit of brake fluid helps.

You can drive without any castor correction on the front, I have since install because I got used to the steering feel.

It can be worst on some LRs, but I think that maybe down to build tolerances ...

You need to put the 2.5 n/a flywheel housing on the back of the 200 to get it to mate to the gearbox.

Sounds like something wrong with a propshaft to me. The rest of the world seems to get on fine with 2" lifts.

Personally I really don't like castor corrected front arms, because of the prop shaft UJ angle implications.

I would fit castor corrected swivel balls or get the front axle casing re-jigged.

The breather should be replaced if it is soo blocked that the pressure is causing a leak.
