You can lose upto 6mpg by switching to muds but with the bfg it's slightly different the km2 should only be a 2-3 mpg worse than the at.

a mate has just claimed on a warranty for a similar puncture he got a replacement tyre, he had Maxxis bighorns, all the range is covered by the same warranty.

Have a look at kleber quadraxer proper tyre built by michelin, not the cheapest but you get an awful lot of quality for your money. Plus some of the best mileage returns in the industry.
