Not that big a job to change the VC at home, an afternoons work tops.

Please also note that even with a brand new VC you will really struggle to turn a wheel with the other three on the ground.

What I wanted to do is what Needalanny described. i.e. 2 antenna 1 CB and 1 CB type used for Broadcast Rx only.

Lots of trucks had ether start assist on them. IIRK, Cummins didn't have an excess fuel button, hence the bottle of ether.

And totally agree about the 'The Chameleons' addiction theory being nonsen ...
