That is the block that is mounted on the chassis just after the maters cylinder in the engine bay.

Are any of the pipes at the rear "crimped" in anyway so that they restrict the fluid?

came to a stop with the hand brake.

Not the best of ideas given how the Land Rover handbrake works on the transmission.

To see which wheel is giving you the problem you can go back to clamping ...
