I have a complete conversion kit for a Vit, but I don't think I used the engine mounts etc (not a Vit)....I will check and let you know and we can sort something out if you're interested. | |

It's not just the vehicle weight you have to think about, when the ****** is buried in the mud you have to move all that also.
Normally I figure about a 9000lb winch would suffice for something Vit ... |

Out of interest have you thought about how much weight you're adding to the jeep, I know most spring upgrades tend to sag a lot once a winch is installed....!

If you look under the chassis, the bolts go into v.large washers that have the nut built (welded?) onto them. No reason you couldn't use some v.large washers and nylocs though.

Did you need the extra body lift to clear the tyres or was the spring lift and torsion jobby enough???
Needed the bodylift, they would rub badly otherwise, unless you wanted to chop away your arche ... |

I don't advise using spacers, if the shock is too short I would use the ones off the scrapper. However if the leafs are jacking it up that much I would guess they may be very hard and the ride will s ... | |
