I ended up going direct to Jeep for a crankshaft sensor, was just over £100 and was there in a couple of days, pretty sure its a fiat part they use, It has to be sent from Italy.

Turned out it was the bottom hose! where the split was it was shooting up against the underside of the water pump then down over.
Rang jeep up for a rad hose £57 and guess what they can get it until ... |

sivy28, as long as the clutch is not slipping it shouldnt be an issue on most cars you can adjust the cable so the bite is at the desired height, mind you I am not 100% sure about cherokees as mine is ... | |
