I want to change the coolant but cannot locate a radiator drain plug.
Any ideas on location or recommended method to drain the system.

It is from the crankcase breather oil/air separator on the rhs of engine back near bulkhead.

There should be a hose from the rear valve cover close to bulkhead. This hose goes into the oil/air sepe ...

Last winter I had a problem with oil vapour condensing in the turbo intercooler.
I have replaced the turbo hoses which had become soft due to the oil degrading them.
I also cleaned the system out.

I can only give info on location on 2000 model.

It is connected to a small pipe on the output from the turbo. Then is routed under turbo to the wastegate.
In manual it is shown in section 11A page ...

To be 100% sure it would be advisable to find a garage with diagnostic kit for the Jeep VM TD motor.

No need for apologies but I would go back to workshop and ask them to point out the pipe and give explanation of why it would have been plugged.
If they know turbo's they must give a plausible reason ...

According to manual hub nut has to be torqued to 175 ft/lbs so I think a good fit is essential.
I am referring to the large nut on the wheel bearing shaft not the wheel nuts.
