what about a complete landy with a reasonable engine, strip it and use the engine. then rebuild your current engine when time allows. you can pick up any number rrc's or early disco's for less than 50 ...

my presonal choice would be 88". not sure anything series will be reliable off road with lockers. metal fatigue aside they were never strong axles in the first place.
d90 or 110 may be a better ...

the ratio difference, if any, will be in th t/box but im fairly sure there all the same between disco and rrc, in this case anyway. early one tens ran really low ratios and defenders ran lower ratios ...

im fairly sure the arms are the same however the rrc ball joint has the facility to hold the self leveling watzit. (like a SPAM shock absorber/damper)

if your landy is a "hybrid" ie rangie bits on designa chassiss with series panels type thing, chances are its still running rrc rear springs. they will have higher poundage rating than you ...

its probably coming from the breather pipe from rocker cover area. not to much of a problem just means the engine is breathing which is normal for a well used engine.
