Got to cut the Pug part will leave a 1mm slit that can be sealed later
Took allot of care lining them up
i temporary put the main shaft in to line up but needed to remove it for weldi ...

Think i may have a slipped liner as pressurised water system
fitted new head gasket but still the same
couldn't see the liner was low or any evidence on the gasket
i didn't remove the inlet manifol ...

Mine did the same bad connection on the key battery got a refurb kit for the key off ebay and been fine ever since.

I followed a thread off the old forum which told you where to drill the hole on the glovebox side it doesnt take much dirt to stop them working ...

Got an electric pump on my SJ one pump does it all got it from a local motor sport supplier used alot on track cars and that sort of thing.
cost about £130 easy to fit and wire up.

P38 went for test today and failed on the emisions being too high 2.35 (from memory as i forgot to pickup the printout)
whats the best way to get them down?
