47/53 front/rear power split on the GV so maybe the rears will wear faster even though the front does all the steering and most of the breaking?

If its the orange light its probably the 02 sensor I had to change mine it was the front sensor pre cat on mine, dissconnect the battery the light may go out for a while. | |

Geolander GO12 are a good one.Michelin also do a Latitude Cross in that size.The Michelin is an OE LR 90/110 fitment so can't be all that bad either.
